Lions Pounce on Chargers

Abington, PA- The Chargers found the back of the net five times Wednesday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough falling to Penn State Abington 19-5.

 

Jenna Godwin (Fairfax, VA) led the Chargers with possibly her best performance to date. Godwin recorded team highs with three goals and nine groundballs, both of which are season highs as well.

 

Rebekah Weidel (Reading, PA) increased her scoring total to 26 with a pair of goals in the loss. In the net, Kayla Maynard recorded 13 saves in her 12th loss of the year. Jenna Pugh led the Lions with a game high four goals.

 

The Chargers return home on Friday for their last regular season game against Cedar Crest at 4:00 PM.
