Lancaster Bible College Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Ken Craul as head coach of the Women's Soccer team.
The bulk of Craul's coaching experience has been with the Lampeter-Strasburg Girls' Soccer Program. Since 2000, he has been involved with the junior high and junior varsity levels in the L-S School District. He has also led the girls' travel programs in L-S.
"We are happy to have Ken join the Charger team. We look for him, with his experience and expertise to build upon the foundation former Head Coach Heather Gale laid over the last three years," Athletic Director Pete Beers said.
The Chargers finished 10-10 in 2008, after going 5-13 in 2007. The team only lost two players to graduation from last year's team.
Ken, a native of Lancaster County, lives in Strasburg with his wife Nancy and their three daughters Brittany, Kaitlin, and Erin. He works as the Supervisor of New Home Construction for Metzler Home Builders.
