LBC Men's Tennis Drops 2010 Opener

The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team opened its 2010 season with a loss to St. Mary's (Md.), falling 9-0.
Brandon Klinger, playing number one singles for LBC, took on Thomas Hoesman from St. Mary's and fell 6-1, 6-1 in his first collegiate tennis match. Klinger and Josh Formanek, playing doubles together, lost 8-1.
LBC's Peter Coderre, playing in his first collegiate tennis match in nearly 30 years, lost 6-2, 6-2 to Kyle Feeley in a number four singles match.
The Chargers' Josh Formanek took an early 3-0 on his opponent Jeff Levy, but could not hold it and lost, 6-3, 6-0.
LBC is back in action on Sunday, March 21 when both the men's and women's teams will head to Huntingdon, Pa. to take on Juniata. The match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
