Lancaster Bible College freshman Caleb Erb was named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week for the second straight week on Tuesday.

Erb helped the Chargers to their second straight NCCAA East Region title by batting .625 (5-for-8) and knocking in four runs. He also scored two runs and earned his third save of the season. In the NCCAA East Region Final, Erb was 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI.

Erb is hitting .387 for the year with 41 hits and 37 RBI's. Over the weekend he was named to the NCCAA All-East Region Team, along with four of his teammates. This is the third time an LBC player has won Student-Athlete of the Week, with senior Lou Curcio having won the award earlier in the season.
