Chargers Secure Home Court

Lancaster, PA- The Chargers held the Patriots to 14 second half points on their way to a 46-37 victory at the Horst Athletic Complex Friday night. The win gives Lancaster the second seed going into the playoffs, and home court advantage.

 

Sophomore guard, Lacy McClaine (New Bethlehem, PA) came up big for the Chargers with a game high 13 points including five points down the stretch to ice the game. Classmate, Nicole Karschner (Galeton, PA) was the game's other double figure scorer with 11 points. Cindy Blough (Friedens, PA) chipped in with eight rebounds from the guard position.

 

Lancaster was able to overcome 37 turnovers by dominating the glass. Lancaster out-rebounded the Patriots 45-29 with 15 of them on the offensive end.

 

The Chargers will host the Patriots again, in the first round of the East Region playoffs on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
