St. David's, PA- The Eastern University Eagles dealt the Chargers their fourth consecutive loss, Monday night, 57-39. The game was much closer than the score indicates, and for the Chargers it was the second consecutive good effort for them despite the loss.
Lancaster kept the game close only trailing by five, 41-36 with 6:29 left to play. Fueled by eight of Bekah Roland's game high 18 points the Eagles went on a 16-3 run over the last six minutes to put the game out of reach.
Nicole Karschner (Galeton, PA) led the Chargers with 14 points along with six rebounds, two blocks and a steal. Lacy McClaine also scored in double figures with 12, connecting on a pair of three point baskets.
On Wednesday, the team looks to even up their East Region Record at 2-2 when they travel to Valley Forge Christian College for a 6:00 PM start.
