Langhorne, PA- The Chargers had a tough time Friday night, dropping the East Region Championship 76-49 to the Crimson Eagles of Philadelphia Biblical University. The Chargers shot nearly seven percent better than their season average, but were unable to come away with a win.
Meredith Wrightson (Silver Spring, MD) was the only Charger in double figures with a season high 14 points on 6-12 shooting. On the defensive end, Lancaster had no answer for the East Region Player of the Year, Dani Norton's 27 points.
The Charger's season ended one game short of the national tournament. Lancaster finished 9- 18 overall and 5-4 in the region, both high's under third year head coach Bob Shannon.
