Wells: The Express won a thrilling NEAC Quarterfinal game at SUNYIT, 82-80. Trailing by six with 1:15 to play, Wells fought the whole way back and with 0.1 seconds remaining, junior Ashley Roser was fouled and drained both free throws to give Wells the upset win. Roser finished with 36 points and 14 rebounds to lead Wells, while Holli Erkson added 16 points and seven boards. Wells had lost to SUNYIT twice in the regular season before upending the Wildcats in the postseason.
Lancaster Bible: The Chargers won the NCCAA East Region title for the first time since the 2002-03 season with their, 77-60 victory over Valley Forge Christian on Wednesday night.
Lauren Heliger had a game-high 23 points, while freshman
Aubrey Folger had 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Brooklyn Wilson and
Emily Lloyd each had 13 points as well, while
Sarah Heilenman added 10 points, five assists and three rebounds.

Aubrey Folger had 19 points and six rebounds to lead the Chargers as they overcame a late deficit to defeat the Express. Wells led 49-45 with 5:19 to play, but the LBC defense clamped down and didn't allow another point and scored the game's final 13 points. Ashley Roser had 15 points and 19 rebounds for Wells, but she fouled out with 2:16 to play with the Chargers leading 53-49.
Emily Lloyd added 12 points and 10 rebounds for LBC, while Lindsay Achzet had 14 points and six boards for the Express. Wells held a 46-35 rebounding advantage, but turned the ball over 22 times compared to LBC's 15 turnovers.
Game Notes:
-The game against LBC was the only game all season long in which Roser fouled out.
-Wells is 10-5 since the January 5
th loss to LBC.
-The Chargers are 15-2 since defeating Wells on January 5
th.
-Roser was named NEAC Player of the Year this past week, while Heliger joined her on the NEAC First Team. Folger was named NEAC Newcomer of the Year.
-Wells' win over SUNYIT was the program's first NEAC playoff win (LBC is still in search of its first NEAC postseason victory).
