For the second straight weekend, the Lancaster Bible men's volleyball team dropped a pair of North Eastern Athletic Conference matches as the Chargers lost to Wells and SUNY Polytechnic on Saturday in Utica, N.Y. Lancaster Bible has now lost nine matches in a row and is 1-12 overall and 0-4 in NEAC play. Below is a short recap of each match from Saturday. The Chargers return to the court on Thursday when they host New Jersey City at 7 p.m.

25-13, 25-17, 25-20Lancaster Bible freshman
Caleb Strite had the best match of his young career as he had a team-high eight kills against no errors on nine attempts, but it was not enough as the Express dispatched the Chargers in three straight. Senior
Nathan Diehl added five kills, while freshman
Justin Stoltzfus chipped in with four kills and a team-high 11 digs. Senior
Paul Fulbright had 14 assists to go with his six digs and three blocks.Â
John Farruggia led Wells with 11 kills as the Express improved to 8-8 overall and 5-2 in NEAC play. Lancaster Bible still leads the all-time series against Wells, 3-2.
SUNY Polytechnic 3, Lancaster Bible 0
25-13, 25-20, 25-22The Chargers posted positive or even hitting percentages in each of the three sets, but still lost to the host Wildcats in straight sets. Stoltzfus had a team-high six kills, while
Derek Bigley added four kills and a team-high 10 digs.
Alex Woelkers added a season-high five kills for the Chargers and Diehl added five more kills and seven digs.
