The Lancaster Bible College men's soccer team advanced to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Playoffs in its final regular season game on Friday as the Chargers defeated Bryn Athyn, 2-0 at Charger Field. The victory sends the Chargers to 10-9 overall and 8-5 in NEAC play, while Bryn Athyn ends its season with an overall record of 4-13-1 and 3-9-1 in NEAC action.Â

Eric Bailey picked up a loose ball and found freshman
Dan Bewersdorff alone at the top of the box. Bewersdorff took the ball, took a few steps and buried his fourth goal of the season into the right-hand side of the net to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead at the 7:01 mark.Â

Caleb Nelson and was able to poke the ball past the Bryn Athyn goalkeeper for his sixth tally of the season.Â
Lancaster Bible goalkeeper Vann Sutphin made a couple of late saves, but the Lancaster Bible defense held the Lions in check for most of the second half and notched at least 10 wins for the third consecutive season.
