The Lancaster Bible softball team moved back to the .500 mark on Wednesday as the Chargers took both games of a doubleheader at Summit University in Clarks Summit, Pa. The Chargers won game one, 10-0 and took game two in 9-0. Both games ended after five innings as Lancaster Bible improved to 8-8 this season, while Summit fell to 3-11.

Ali Morton hit two-run triples in the inning, while
Zoie Senn added a sacrifice fly.
Richelle Kane's sacrifice fly in the fifth inning capped the scoring as she drove in
Samantha Denson.

Kelsey Collins improved to 3-4 this season as she allowed just two hits over five innings and struck out a season-high nine batters.

Game 2: Lancaster Bible 9, Summit 0Â How it Happened:Â Â The Chargers wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in game two as Collins tripled in the first inning which scored D'Arrigo to make it 1-0. Next batter up
Morgan Burkholder singled back through the middle to score Collins and make it 2-0 and the Chargers were off and running. After the Chargers capitalized on another error to make it 4-0, Morton hit another two-run triple in the third inning to give the Chargers a 6-0 advantage.Â
After a Senn RBI single in the fourth, the Chargers tacked on runs eight and nine via sacrifice flies and won, 9-0. D'Arrigo earned her fourth win of the year as she matched Collins with just two hits allowed. D'Arrigo struck out five and did not walk a batter as she lowered her earned run average to 4.65.
