Chargers & Wildcats Play to Scoreless Tie

The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team capped its weekend away with a scoreless tie at Penn College in Williamsport, Pa. on Sunday. The Chargers are now 3-7-2 overall and 2-1-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play. Penn College is 3-6-2 after the scoreless tie.

The Big Moments:
-Lancaster Bible had four shots and a corner kick opportunity in the first 14:07 of the game, but couldn't convert
-Sophomore Joy Trumbull had a shot to win it with under two minutes remaining in regulation, but Penn College Taylor Gonzalez made the save
-Lancaster Bible had three shots in the second overtime, but two chances went wide, while Gonzalez made another save

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible outshot Penn College, 15-9, including 7-4 in shots on goal...Each team had three corner kick chances...Freshman goalkeeper Kendra Brown made her second straight start for the Chargers and made four saves, en route to posting her second straight shutout...Senior Raegan Horst had a game-high five shots.
