The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team faced Penn St. Berks on Wednesday for the first time since the NEAC Final a year ago, when the teams went to double overtime and the Nittany Lions earned a 1-0 victory. On Wednesday, the Chargers once again hung tough with the four-time defending North Eastern Athletic Conference champions, but the Nittany Lions came out on top again, this time by a score of 2-0 at Charger Field.
How it Happened: Penn St. Berks gained control of the game quickly, as the Nittany Lions took five shots in the first five minutes, one of which hit the crossbar. Lancaster Bible earned its first shot in the 21st minute and its first shot on goal a minute later. Rheeana Miles.Â
Miles played well in the first half for the Chargers, as she made two late saves to keep Lancaster Bible's deficit at one heading into halftime.

Lancaster Bible fired four shots towards the goal in the next 14 minutes, but could not get on the board and Penn St. Berks held off the Chargers, 2-0.
