The Lancaster Bible College men's volleyball team won its sixth straight match, and stayed perfect in North Eastern Athletic Conference play on Friday night, as the Chargers defeated St. Elizabeth, 3-1 in Morristown, N.J. The victory propels the ninth-ranked Chargers to 22-4 overall and 8-0 in conference play, while the Eagles dropped to 5-13 overall and 0-7 in NEAC action.

How it Happened: Lancaster Bible controlled play over the first two sets, as they took a 2-0 lead thanks to 25-9, 25-14 margins in the first two frames. The Chargers led the first set, 17-4 at one point, and used a 7-0 run midway through the second set to open up a 16-8 lead.

St. Elizabeth battled back and took the third set, 25-19, but Lancaster Bible restored order in the fourth set, and won, 25-15, as the Chargers won seven of the final eight points of the match.

By the Numbers: The Chargers had 46 kills and 16 errors on 83 attempts for a .325 hitting percentage, while St. Elizabeth had 20 kills and 19 errors on 73 attempts for a .014 attack percentage…The Chargers had 15 aces, while also held a 29-20 edge in digs…
Benjamin Herb had a team-best 11 kills and four aces, while
Nate Miller posted 10 kills and three aces to go with six digs…
Reuben Kemrer added four aces, six digs and 15 assists…
Kyran Flahive had seven kills, and
Daniel Kreider and
Caleb Roberts each had five kills…

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 3-0 all-time against St. Elizabeth…The third set loss is just the third set dropped in eight NEAC contests this season…The Chargers are currently, 24-3 in set play in eight NEAC matches this season…Lancaster Bible is 8-1 in true road matches this season, and 12-3 in all matches away from Horst Athletic Center…The 15 service aces on Friday are a season-high, and the fourth-most in program history.
