Chargers Wrap-Up Season with Senior Day Defeat

The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team ended its season with a 22-5 loss to Keuka on Saturday at the Donald H. Funk Field, as the Chargers finished the 2019 campaign with a record of 3-14 overall and 2-7 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play. The win, on Lancaster Bible's Senior Day, propels the Wolves to 14-1 overall and 8-1 in NEAC action.

How it Happened: The Chargers played terrific over the game's first 15 minutes, as they took an early 1-0 lead on a goal from Kaylee Boger, and after two Keuka goals, got tallies from Hannah Thompson and Boger to take a 3-2 lead 9:25 into the game.

Keuka, the second-highest scoring team in the conference, answered back with three straight goals, but Thompson's second goal of the game cut the Chargers' deficit to 5-4 with 14:56 remaining in the opening half.
