The Lancaster Bible College men's volleyball team defeated its second straight ranked opponent on Friday night, and in the process extended the team's winning streak to six matches, as the Chargers toppled third-ranked Stevens, 3-0 in Hoboken, N.J. The Chargers won, 25-23, 25-21, 25-23, and are now 16-3 overall this season, while the Ducks dropped to 13-4.

Match Notes: 1st Set: Lancaster Bible won four straight points early in the first set to take a 9-5 lead, and then won four of five points midway through the set for a 14-8 advantage…Stevens rallied and tied the opening set at 16-16, and the teams traded points to 21-21…After an attack error by the Ducks,
Benjamin Herb had two kills in three points, and gave the Chargers a set point at 24-22…After the Ducks cut it to 24-23, Stevens had an attack error, and the Chargers had the opening set…
2nd Set: Stevens continued making errors in the second set, and Lancaster Bible led 13-8 after back-to-back errors from the Ducks…Stevens battled back a bit, but a kill from
Nate Miller gave the Chargers an 18-15 lead, and two more blasts from Miller made it 22-18 a few moments later…
Kole Horst had a kill to give the Chargers the set, and the Chargers took a 2-0 lead…
3rd Set: Lancaster Bible won six of seven points for a 12-6 lead in the third set, as
Reuben Kemrer ended the run with an ace…Stevens wouldn't go away again, and cut its deficit to one, but a kill from
Zeke Hallman, followed by an error from Stevens, restored Lancaster Bible's three-point lead at 19-16…The Ducks tied the set at 20-20, but Lancaster Bible won three of the final four points of the set, as Miller hammered a kill to secure the win.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 44 kills and just 11 errors on 97 attempts for a .340 hitting percentage, while Stevens had 37 kills and 18 errors on 96 attempts for a .198 hitting percentage…The Chargers led in blocks, 6-1, while Stevens held a 37-36 edge in digs…Miller had 16 kills to lead the Chargers, while Horst had 12 kills and just one error on 29 attempts…Hallman added nine kills and two blocks, while
