How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team dropped an overtime heartbreaker to United East Conference Leaders Penn State Harrisburg by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday, October 13.

LBC struck in the 9th minute when
Jade Weir netted the game's first goal off assists from
Taylor Shultz and
Kara Huber. This was Weir's third goal of the season, The Chargers' lead held into the second half thanks to four saves made by goalkeeper
Hannah Lieb. Â
Penn State Harrisburg would capitalize on a free kick, scoring in 62nd minute to tie the game at one. The Chargers would push numbers forward, but could not create a quality scoring chance, sending the game to overtime. In OT, Penn St. Harrisburg's Kylee Altland scored in the 94th minute to secure the 2-1 victory.Â
