How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team dropped a nonconference matchup with Cabrini University by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday, September 28.
The game was delayed for almost two hours due to inclement weather. When the teams finally got on the field, it did not take long for the Cavaliers to strike, scoring in the third minute. The Chargers struggled to sustain offense.
Kendal Ream fired LBC's lone shot of the half, missing just over the crossbar. Cabrini would tack on a second goal, scoring in the 21
st minute and held the 2-0 lead heading into the half.
The Chargers would control more of the possession in the second half but could not create scoring chances.
Bryanna Hoover took LBC's lone shot of the half but could not find the back of the net. The Cavaliers would add a goal in the 79
th minute and hold on for the 3-0 victory.
