How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team picked up a win in Hilton Head, S.C., defeating Agnes Scott College 7-2 on Thursday, March 17.

Singles

Cara DiCiano completed a great comeback in the #1 singles match, dropping the first set 6-0 and winning the second set 6-0 to force a third set tiebreak. In the tiebreak, DiCiano fought her opponent to the end, winning the third set 10-8 and securing a hard-earned point for the Chargers.
- The second matchup featured another tight contest, with
Kenedi Berkhimer also battling to a third set tiebreak. After a 5-7 loss and a 6-4 win, she dropped the tiebreaker by a score of 10-4.
- In the #3 singles match,
Camryn Burkholder played yet another close match for LBC, winning the first set 6-4 and dropping set two 7-6. During the tiebreaking third set, Burkholder powered her way to a 10-6 victory.

Alycia Eglauer took down the Scotties' Fabiola Garcia in straight sets, winning 6-1 and 6-2.

Kyrstin Jarvis made quick work of her opponent with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

Cara DiCiano and
Kenedi Berkhimer played a hard fought match, dropping the #1 doubles match to their pair of Scotties by a score of 8-5.

Chloe Campbell teamed up in the other doubles match, rolling to an 8-3 win.

"Some super competitive matches today!" said head coach
Rod Baughman. "Great to see Cam battle back and win the tiebreak and Cara's turnaround was a comeback for the ages. Excited to be back on the court tomorrow!"
