The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team celebrated senior day by defeating Penn St. Abington by a score of 9-0 on Tuesday, April 12. Before the match began, the Chargers took a few moments to honor their two seniors,
Kenedi Berkhimer and
Chloe Campbell.
Singles

Cara DiCiano started singles play by winning the #1 singles match in dominate fashion 6-0, 6-0.

Kenedi Berkhimer kept the momentum going, winning the #2 singles match 6-4, 6-2

Madi Strickler made her return to singles play, rallying to win a hard-fought battle in the #3 singles match 4-6, 6-1, 10-4
- Senior
Chloe Campbell rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the #4 singles match
- In the #5 singles match,
Camryn Burkholder picked up a 6-2, 6-0 victory

Kyrstin Jarvis closed out singles victory by winning the #6 singles match after her open withdrew from the match
Doubles
- The team of
Cara DiCiano and
Kenedi Berkhimer picked up a hard-fought victory in the #1 doubles match, winning 8-6

Chloe Campbell teamed for the first time this season, winning the #2 doubles match
- In the final doubles match,
Camryn Burkholder and
Kyrstin Jarvis powered to an 8-2 victory
Coaching Points
"I felt our girls played great tennis today, but our afternoon was really about celebrating our two seniors Kenedi and Chloe," said head coach
Rod Baughman. "These two young ladies are everything that's good about the culture in our program and I am so grateful they chose to be a part of the LBC and Tennis family!"
