How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team powered past Penn College, winning by a score of 7-2 on Saturday, April 23. 
 
Singles
- Cara DiCiano opened singles play, rolling to a 6-0, 6-2 victory in the #1 singles match
- Kenedi Berkhimer continued the momentum, rallying back to win the #2 singles match in three sets
- In the #3 singles match, Madi Strickler powered to a 6-3, 6-2 victory
- Camryn Burkholder dropped a competitive match in the #4 singles matchup
- Krystin Jarvis and Alycia Eglauer finished off singles play, rolling to dominant victories in the #5 and #6 singles matches
 
Doubles
- The team of Cara DiCiano and Kenedi Berkhimer powered to an 8-3 victory in the #1 doubles match
- In the #2 doubles match, Madi Strickler and Alycia Eglauer fell by a score of 8-2
- Camryn Burkholder and Kyrstin Jarvis closed out doubles play, winning their match by a score of 8-3

Coaching Points
"A lot of competitive matches out here today," said head coach Rod Baughman. "Kenedi Berkhimer won a marathon! Madi Strickler played one of her best matches of the year."

The women's tennis team is back in action tomorrow as they host Penn St. Berks to conclude United East play on Sunday, April 24.
