The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team lost a tough contest with the Lycoming Warriors on Wednesday afternoon, losing 6-3. The Chargers drop to 3-9 overall while the Warriors improve to 4-4 on the year.
 
How It Happened: Freshman Sarah Steckbeck was the lone Charger to win a singles match, defeating the Lycoming's No. 2 Wolfgang 6-1, 6-2. Her teammates battled tough, but fell in each of their own matches. Looking to get things rolling in doubles, the Chargers were able to get two out of three matches as the duo of Steckbeck and Alycia Eglauer defeated their opponents 8-6. Ending on a good note, the Chargers double of Natalie Hoover and Camryn Burkholder defeated their opponents 8-3 in the No. 3 slot.
