The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team competed in the United East Conference Semifinals versus the Penn St. Harrisburg Lions, falling 5-1. The Chargers end their season 7-12 overall while the Lions improve to 8-5.

How It Happened: The Lions got off to a hot start, winning the first two doubles matches to race to a 2-0 advantage over the Chargers. The Chargers picked up their first win in the third slot of doubles as the duo of
Camryn Burkholder and
Natalie Hoover picked up an 8-5 win.

On the singles side of the match, the Lions swept the Chargers and raced to a 5-1 win to clinch their spot in the conference championship.
Sarah Steckbeck lost the one seed in a tough 6-1, 6-2 match.
Alycia Eglauer lost the fourth seed in a 6-2, 6-0 loss. Then,
Sierra Hartmann lost 6-1, 6-4 in the second position.
