The Lancaster Bible College Women's Tennis team traveled to Eastern University on Saturday to take on the Eagles. The Chargers picked up the 7-2 victory to improve to 2-5 overall while the Eagles move to 3-2.Â

How It Happened: In doubles play, the Chargers earned the victory in both matches they played and gave up the #3 doubles via forfeit.

Natalie Hoover finished their respective matches with identical scores of 8-2.Â

On the singles side, the Chargers earned the victory in matches #1-5 and dropped #6 via forfeit.
Sarah Steckbeck finished with a score of 6-4 and 6-0.
Sierra Hartmann finished 7-6 and 6-3 and
Jania Weist earned scores of 6-1 and 6-4.
Natalie Hoover finished 6-1 and 7-5 while
Susannah Clawser finished 6-3 and 6-0.Â

Up Next: The Chargers will play back-to-back home matches next week. The McDaniel Green Terror make the trip on Wednesday, March 20th and the Penn State Brandywine Lions make the trip on Friday, March 22nd. Both matches are set to begin at 3:30 p.m.Â
