The Lancaster Bible College Chargers hosted the Lycoming Warriors on Thursday afternoon for a non-conference matchup. The Chargers battled but were edged out in the end with a final score of 5-4. With the loss, the Chargers move to 2-7 and the Warriors pick up their first win of the season to move to 1-8. The Chargers are next in action on Saturday, March 30th at 3:00 p.m. when they travel to nearby Penn State Harrisburg to take on the Lions.

In Singles Play
The Chargers and Warriors split the single matches on the day. Sarah Steckbeck picked up a 6-3/6-3 win in the one slot and Sierra Hartmann won the two slot with scores of 6-1,4-6, and 10-5. In the four slot, Natalie Hoover picked up an 8-7 (7-4) win. Jania Weist dropped her match with a score of 6-2/7-5 and Susannah Clawser dropped her sets 6-4 and 6-0.

In Doubles Play
The pair of Sarah Steckbeck and Jania Weist defeated Wolfgang/Kelchner with a score of 8-7 (7-4). Sierra Hartmann and Natalie Hoover dropped their match with a score of 8-5.
