The United East Conference released their weekly awards on Monday and Tuesday, with Men's Golf freshman Jon Breinich announced as the Golfer of the Week for the Chargers. This is Breinich's second conference honor of the season in his first year at Lancaster Bible.
 
Jon led the charge for Lancaster Bible this past Tuesday at the Alvernia Invitational at the LedgeRock Golf Club in Mohnton, Pa., placing first out of 63 total finishers to win the event on the individual leaderboard. Breinich finished with a score of 73 on the day for a +1, helping lead the Chargers to a fourth place team finish with a score of 315 for a +27, just five strokes back of the host Alvernia who took home the title.
 
The Chargers and Breinich are back at it with day two of the Lancaster Bible Fall Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club in Lancaster, Pa. today, October 14.
