The Lancaster Bible College Women's Basketball team had their first road contest of the season on Wednesday night as they traveled to face Muhlenberg, falling by a score of 71-32. The Chargers fall to 0-2 overall while the Mules improve to 2-0 overall.

How it Happened:
The Chargers struck first as freshman
Emily Wilson drained a 3-pointer in the first minute, but this would be the Chargers' only lead of the game as Muhlenberg exploded for a 22-point run over the next five minutes to race out to a huge lead. Sophomore
Shania Stoltzfus got a few jumpers to go, but the Chargers trailed 26-10 after one quarter of play. The Mules dominated the second quarter as they scored the first 14 points of the period and held LBC scoreless through the first seven minutes. Wilson made a layup to halt the run and junior
Isabella Eufemia drained a 3-pointer in the last few seconds of the half, but the Chargers trailed 42-17 at the half.

After the Mules scored five in a row to open the second half, the Chargers scored the next six in a row with Wilson and Eufemia each had made jumpers. Junior
Rachel Nolt added a pair of free throws later in the quarter, but after three it was 60-27 in favor of Muhlenberg. Freshman

Raven Hunter each scored in the fourth quarter, but the Chargers were held to just five points in the final period as the Mules cruised to a home victory.

Rachel Nolt moved into 13th place on the all-time rebounding list for the Chargers with 441 career rebounds and is now tied for 10th place all-time in blocks with 27.
