The Lancaster Bible College Women's Basketball team had their final game of the 2025 calendar year on Tuesday afternoon as they traveled to take on Delaware Valley, losing in a close on 57-54 on the road. The Chargers fall to 4-10 overall and 2-0 in the United East while the Aggies improve to 5-6 overall.

How it Happened:
The Aggies began the game on a 8-0 run, keeping the Chargers off the scoreboard for the first four minutes before sophomore
Shania Stoltzfus got a jumper to go. Freshman
Emily Wilson made a jump shot less than a minute later, then with under two minutes to go in the quarter junior
Rachel Nolt knocked down a 3-pointer to make it a five-point game. The Chargers responded with a 14-6 run after starting down 8-0, ending the quarter with another made three by Nolt to tie the score at 14-14 after ten minutes.

The Chargers capped a seven-point run overall as Wilson made a layup to open the second period, then after an Aggies score they scored another five straight after a Stoltzfus jumper and a 3-pointer by Wilson for a 21-16 lead. Delaware Valley got to within two on some free throws, but senior
Raven Hunter hit two layups right after to keep the lead. The Aggies scored the final points of the half as they got within one, with LBC holding a 25-24 lead at halftime.

Delaware Valley took the lead to open the half, but Stoltzfus answered with a three to put LBC back on top by two. This sparked an 8-0 run by the Chargers as Stoltzfus hit another three and Nolt had a jumper go down for LBC's largest lead of the game at 33-26. From there, the Aggies battled back as they launched an 11-2 scoring run to take the lead by two before Hunter tied it at 37 with a layup. DVU hit a three for the lead, then Stoltzfus answered with her third 3-pointer of the quarter to tie it at 40-40. In the final minute, Hunter got a layup to go as the Chargers ended the third up by two points.

Both teams were scoreless through three minutes in the fourth before Nolt ended the drought to put LBC up four. Nolt made it a five-point edge on a three with under five minutes to play, but the Aggies battled back to tie it at 47 before Nolt put LBC back on top. DVU pulled ahead in the final minute on a pair of free throws, then made four more for a five-point lead as LBC fouled to stop the clock. With three seconds left, Wilson drained a three to make it a one-point game, but two more free throws by Delaware Valley helped seal their victory as the Chargers dropped a tight one on the road.
