The Lancaster Bible College Women's Track & Field team competed in the National Christian College Athletic Association Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 7-9. The Chargers were able to compete among some of the best Christian college programs across the country finishing 24
th with three total points.
Seana Dougherty had herself a great showing in her first NCCAA Outdoor Championships finishing sixth overall in the 10k with a time of 40:55.86.
The 4x400m Relay team set a new school record with a program best 4:25.88 finishing 12
th overall.
Faith Garber finished the weekend with a new personal best in the Heptathlon finishing in ninth overall with 2,458 total points.
Martha Weaver competed in three separate events including a top ten finish in Shot Put with a mark of 11.25m, 12
th in Javelin with a distance of 28.97m, and 13
th in Hammer Throw with a mark of 39.38m.
Cadee Cameron ran the 5k with a time of 20:19.95 to finish 13
th overall and
Emma McMurray finished ninth overall in Pole Vault with a height of 2.90m.
Greenville went on to win the event with 123.5 total points.
