The Lancaster Bible College Field Hockey team traveled to Immaculata on Friday night for a road contest, falling by a score of 3-0. The Chargers fall to 1-2 overall while the Mighty Macs improve to 3-3 overall.

How it Happened:
The Mighty Macs didn't take long to grab the lead as they drew a penalty corner in the fourth minute and scored 15 seconds later for a 1-0 lead. After three consecutive saves by senior
Amanda Hoover in goal, the Chargers flipped the field as they got out on offense and junior
Julia Petrie fired a shot that went wide. Immaculata had another corner, but couldn't score as the quarter ended with the Mighty Macs up one. The Chargers' defense played well in the second quarter as they held Immaculata to just two shots on two corners, finding a corner of their own with about two minutes left in the half but unable to score as the halftime deficit was 1-0.

Immaculata came out blasting in the third quarter with five penalty corners, taking four shots before they punched in another score in the 42nd minute. A minute later freshman
Bailey Simmons had a shot that went wide for the Chargers, then the quarter ended with a two-goal deficit. Three shots and three corners were earned by Immaculata before adding another goal at the 51st minute, firing three more shots for the game before closing out a 3-0 win over LBC.
