The Lancaster Bible College Men's Soccer team hosted Alvernia in non-conference action on Wednesday night, working a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes as both defenses held strong. The Chargers move to 1-1-1 overall while the Golden Wolves remain winless at 0-1-2 overall.

Matthew Eufemia had a shot in the first 30 seconds of the game, saved by the Golden Wolves' keeper. Alvernia seized momentum after that, forcing seven corner kicks in a six-minute span with six shots that all missed the mark, with freshman
Micah Dressler making two saves. Sophomore
Silas Dellaperute and senior
Ben Nolt each took shots that missed, then at the end of the half senior
Stephen Christner had a shot that bounced off the post, leading to a scoreless tie at the half.

The Chargers got a corner kick two minutes into the second half, then neither team had a shot or a corner for over 20 minutes before the Chargers got close and had three shots that all were blocked. The Golden Wolves forced two corners late in the game with several free kicks, but could not capitalize as the match ended in a scoreless draw.
