The Lancaster Bible College Women's Basketball team returned home to host Keystone in United East play on Saturday afternoon, earning a 66-45 victory for their third straight win and staying unblemished in conference play. The Chargers improve to 7-10 overall and 5-0 in the United East while the Giants fall to 3-13 overall and 2-3 in the United East.

How it Happened:
Shania Stoltzfus (So.) had the first five points for the Chargers as she opened the scoring with a layup and then hit a 3-pointer, but halfway through the quarter Keystone took a 7-6 edge. The Chargers closed the half on a 7-0 run as
Rachel Nolt (Jr.) picked up a pair of assists, then
Isabella Eufemia (Jr.) knocked down a three in the final minute as the Chargers led 13-7 after 10 minutes.

Keystone opened up the second quarter with a three, but
Emily Wilson (Fr.) answered with a three of her own off an assist from Nolt. The Chargers finished another 7-0 run after back-to-back baskets by
Raven Hunter (Sr.). The lead was stretched to 11 after another 3-pointer by Eufemia, then maintained after a Wilson jumper. The Giants got the deficit down to single-digits at halftime as they trailed LBC 27-19 at the half.

Nolt and Wilson started the second half with baskets, but Keystone hit a three to make it a seven-point game early. Later in the half, the Chargers scored six in a row as Stoltzfus and Wilson each added layups, then Wilson and
Miriam Spender (Fr.) each added free throws towards the end of the quarter as LBC led by a dozen heading into the final quarter.

The Chargers had the first five points of the fourth quarter as Stoltzfus hit another three and Nolt hit two free throws. Nolt heated up in the fourth with two more scores and a free throw by the halfway point of the quarter, then Wilson hit a jumper plus the foul for the three-point play. The Chargers played well down the stretch as they closed out a big home win over the Giants and improved to a perfect 5-0 in United East play.

Information to Know:
This was the first meeting all-time between the Chargers and Giants in Women's Basketball. The Chargers are 5-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2017-18 season and have won five straight home games for the first time since the 2019-20 season.
