The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team hosted Penn St. Abington on Saturday afternoon in conference action, fighting to a scoreless 0-0 draw. The Chargers move to 4-5-2 overall and 2-0-2 in the United East while the Lions fall to 1-10-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the United East.
**Before the match, LBC Athletics took time to recognize the program's senior student-athletes for the 2026 season, including #2 Haley Moyer (Sr.), #4 Isabella Eufemia (Sr.), #5 Allie Zuber (Jr.), #9 Chloe Donaldson (Sr.), #14 Leah Iman (Sr.), #17 Zoi Whitsett (Sr.), #21 Samantha Perloni (Sr.), #23 Amelia DePaul (Sr.), #24 Brooke Burkholder (Sr.), #25 Jade Weir (Gr.), and team manager Maddie Halstead.
How it Happened:
The Chargers drew two early corner kicks in the first half, then
Madison Duggan (Fr.) had a shot on goal that was saved just over 11 minutes in.
Saige Santa Cruz (Jr.) then made a save on the other end of the field in a Lions pass at goal, then
Isabella Eufemia had a shot in the box that got saved by a Lion defender to fend off a LBC attack. With under 10 minutes to go in the half, Santa Cruz made another save for LBC before
Rayanna Wagaman (Fr.) had a shot to the middle of the goal that was saved. Wagaman had another shot in the final minute that missed wide, bringing the half to a close with neither team on the board.
Both teams had two corner kicks early in the second half with the Chargers getting two shots off, one wide by Wagaman and one saved on the right side by Eufemia. The Chargers had two more shots in the next few minutes as they controlled the possession, then the contact rose in the game with three total yellow cards in the second half as neither team could find a score. In the final minute of regulation, Wagaman had two great shots that narrowly missed, one off the crossbar and one off the left post as the teams fought to a scoreless draw in conference play.

The Chargers and Lions have now met 20 times in program history with this being the third tie between the two teams all-time and the first tie since 2018. Today's game ended a five-game win streak for the Chargers against Abington and a four-game home win streak against the Lions. This is the Chargers' first season with multiple draws in conference play since the 2018 season.
