The Lancaster Bible College Women's Basketball team closed out their regular season on Saturday afternoon in dominant fashion, racing to an 82-58 victory over Penn St. Harrisburg on the road. The Chargers finish at 10-15 overall and 8-5 in the United East while the Lions finish at 8-17 overall and 7-6 in the United East.
How it Happened:
Isabella Eufemia (Jr.) got LB started with a jumper, then
Emily Wilson (Fr.) made a pair of shots on back-to-back possessions as the Chargers got out to a 6-2 lead.
Raven Hunter (Sr.) then had a fast-break layup to extend the lead to 10-4, then two more fast-break scores from Eufemia made it an eight-point lead. As the quarter wound down,
Shania Stoltzfus (So.) hit a three as the Chargers took a 19-12 lead into the second.
The Lions battled back to within four points twice before Stoltzfus knocked down another three, then
Rachel Nolt (Jr.) hit a jumper to make it a nine-point lead at 28-19. Hunter then scored the next six for the Chargers as the lead hit double-digits, then Wilson finished an and-one layup for the three-point play in the final seconds as LBC led by 14 points at the half.
After two quick scores from the Lions to make it a nine-point game, Wilson hit a three and Eufemia got free for a layup to quickly set the score back up 14. Penn St. Harrisburg remained within striking distance as they got back within ten, but Hunter had several scores inside and Wilson hit another three to keep them away. At the end of three, Harrisburg got the final four points to trail by 12 at 53-41.
The fourth quarter belonged to Eufemia and the Chargers, scoring LBC's first nine points of the quarter by herself as the lead ballooned to 19 points just over three minutes in. The Lions quickly got it back down to 13, but Stoltzfus and Eufemia each had scores include one 3-pointer apiece as they combined on a 12-point run to extend the lead 25. Eufemia continued her hot streak with the final four points of the game as the Chargers capped off a big win on the road to finish with eight wins in conference play and secure a First Round home game.

Information to Know:
The Chargers are now 8-15 all-time against Penn St. Harrisburg with this being their first win over the Lions on the road since 2014. The Chargers finish the regular season at 8-5 in United East play, their most conference wins in a season since 2022-23 when they went 9-7 in conference. The Chargers have matched their win total from last season at 10-15 and have back-to-back 10-win seasons in head coach
Kel Brown's first two seasons at the helm.
