Chargers Sweep Gallaudet on Senior Day

The Lancaster Bible College Men's Volleyball team hosted their final regular season home match of 2026 on Wednesday night as they took on Gallaudet, earning a 3-0 victory and clinching a First-Round bye in the United East postseason. The Chargers improve to 13-10 overall and 6-0 in conference while the Bison drop to 8-15 overall and 4-3 in conference.

**Before the game, LBC Athletics took time to recognize the program's senior for this season in his final regular season home game, #21 Nicholas Marion (Sr.).

How it Happened:
The Chargers used an early six-point run to grab the lead in set one as Zeke Clark (Jr.) landed a pair of service aces. Later in the set, Carson Hoover (Jr.) connected on back-to-back kills as LBC led 12-5, then Gallaudet later had a run of three points to cut the lead to five points. The Chargers closed strong on a pair of three-point bursts, ending the set 25-16 on a kill by Clark to take the opening draw and go up 1-0.

Braden Escover (Fr.) had two kills and an ace early on in set two as the Chargers jumped out to an 8-2 lead, but the Bison fought back with five of the next seven points to cut it to 10-7. Kevin Bryant (Jr.) then added three kills during the middle of the set to keep the Chargers ahead, then aces by both Hoover and Nicholas Marion to close the second set, ending again on a Clark kill as LBC took the set 25-17.

The Chargers got off to a rampant start in set three as they scored 10 points straight, leading 10-1 as Clark landed four consecutive service aces on the run. Timothy Fletcher (So.) picked up a block on the run as well, then landed an ace for a 15-4 LBC lead. Gallaudet powered back with six of the next eight points to cut it to eight, but Marion helped end the run on a solo block to put the Chargers up 17-7. The Bison showed more fight with a 5-1 run in response, but kills and blocks by both Jacob Snyder (So.) and Zion Valentine (Fr.) helped close the door as the Chargers won the set 25-14 and finished off another United East home victory on Senior Night.
