The Lancaster Bible women's tennis team hosted their first tennis match of the year at Hempfield Rec against conference opponent Penn St. Berks. The Chargers would defeat the Nittany Lions 6-1. The Chargers will improve to 2-5 on the season including 2-0 in conference.

Doubles Recap:

• The Chargers would go 2-1 in doubles play
• Lindsey Ochs and Jania Weist would take the opening match with a 6-4 victory
• Becky Dimov and Natalie Hoover would pick up the second win of doubles, 6-2

Singles Recap:

• The Chargers would go 5-1 in singles play
• Jania Weist would only drop one game in her two set match going 6-0 and 6-1
• Natalie Hoover would win match #2, 6-4 and 6-3
• Lindsey Ochs would have a come from behind victory in match #3, after losing the first set 6-1 and winning the next two 6-4 and 6-4
• Becky Dimov would win in two sets, 6-3 and 6-2
• Katelyn Riederich would take set #5 6-4 and 7-5
