The Lancaster Bible College Men's Volleyball team traveled to Aston, Pa. on Saturday morning for a United East match against Neumann, cruising to a 3-0 sweep. The Chargers improve to 14-11 overall and remain perfect at 7-0 in conference while the Knights fall to 4-13 overall and 2-5 in conference.

How it Happened:
The Chargers got off to a 4-0 start in set one with two early kills by
Kevin Bryant (Jr.), then after a four-point burst from the Knights, the Chargers answered right back with five straight points as a kill by
Zeke Clark (Jr.) capped the run for an 11-5 LBC lead. Several kills by
Carson Hoover (Jr.) helped power the Chargers late as they won nine of the final ten points to run away with the set, with back-to-back service aces by
Braden Escover (Fr.) ending the set 25-10 for the Chargers.

Bryant had four kills and a block early on in set two as the Chargers got out to an 8-3 advantage, increasing it to 11-5 after a kill by
Timothy Fletcher (So.). Fletcher then landed a service ace to cap a five-point run for LBC as the Chargers led big at 16-6. Kills by Clark and Bryant helped Lancaster Bible hold on in the second set as they closed it out 25-13 on a Clark kill to go up 2-0 in the match.

The Chargers led 4-1 in set three with two kills and an ace by Escover, then a run of four points featured an ace from
Nicholas Marion (Sr.) and two kills from
Jacob Snyder (So.) for an 8-2 LBC lead. The teams then went back and forth in the middle of the set before two more aces from Escover put the Chargers up 17-9, then three more LBC aces after that helped the Chargers close strong as they took the set 25-16 and closed out another road conference victory.

Information to Know:
The Chargers improve to 3-0 all-time against Neumann, winning all three matchups with the Knights in the past two seasons including a United East Semifinal victory in the 2025 postseason. The Chargers are now 7-0 in United East play this season and have won their last 27 matches in conference play since rejoining in 2023 and have won their last 50 consecutive conference matches dating back to the 2017 season. Lancaster Bible has also wrapped up at least a share of the regular season title with their win today at 7-0 with one game to go, making it six consecutive regular season titles for the Chargers (2018-19, 2023-26).
Zeke Clark became just the 12th player in program history to reach 60 career service aces, jumping into 11th all-time as he passed
Jordan Yoder ('24-'25) on the list.
