Bryant, Fletcher Named NCCAA All-Americans

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) released their 2026 Men's Volleyball All-Americans this past Friday, and the Chargers landed two players on the release as junior Kevin Bryant was named a First Team NCCAA All-American and sophomore Timothy Fletcher was named a Second Team NCCAA All-American. These are the second and third NCCAA All-American honorees for Lancaster Bible in program history as Bryant was recognized last year on the first team as well. In addition, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) partnered with the NCCAA in naming their first-ever NCCAA All-American team, with Bryant receiving first team honors there as well.

Kevin Bryant earns All-American honors from the NCCAA for the second time in his career, earning back-to-back First Team selections in 2025 and 2026. Kevin led the Chargers for the 2026 season with 266 total kills and 336 total points as a middle hitter, ranking fourth in all of NCAA Division III in hitting percentage at a .448 clip for the season and currently leading the Chargers all-time through three seasons with a career attack % of .407. Kevin landed double-digit kills in 16 matches this season including a career-high 16 on February 28 at home in a five-set win over Eastern. Bryant also led the Chargers in blocks with 93 for the season, ranked 24th in Division III in blocks per set at 0.939 and reaching 200 career blocks in their final game at the NCAA Tournament against Endicott. Kevin had multiple blocks in 21 of LBC's 28 matches and at least four blocks in 14 matches, landing a season-high eight against Elizabethtown on January 31. In the NCCAA, Bryant ranked fourth among all players in hitting percentage and fifth in blocks per set, landing him in the top-10 in the nation in total points (336) and points per set (3.39).

Fletcher earns his first career national honor in being named a Second Team NCCAA All-American, joining Bryant as the only players in program history to earn All-American honors from the NCCAA. Timothy facilitated the Chargers' offense all season long, dishing 929 total assists at 9.78 assists per set, ranking 13th in NCAA Division III at the end of the season and atop the United East Conference. Fletcher collected the fourth-most assists in a single season by a Charger in program history, becoming just the third player in LBC history to reach the 900-assist mark in a season. Tim had 16 matches with at least 30 assists and seven matches with 40+, including a career-high 51 assists in a five-set win over Eastern on February 28. Fletcher finished the season ranked fourth in the NCCAA in assists per set and helped the Chargers rank sixth as a team in the nation in assists per set at 11.07.
