2022: Nelson appeared in all 40 contests for Lancaster Bible in her senior season, starting all but one. In 34 at-bats, she had a .176 batting average with six hits and six runs scored. She also had three stolen bases and drew seven walks at the plate. 

2021: Sonja Nelson played and started in 17 games for the Chargers during the 2021 Season. She recorded 9 hits and walked 7 times, stealing a base and crossing the plate 9 times. She also provided some run support, recording 2 RBIs for LBC. Nelson had a season-high two hits and scored a run for the Chargers in a 11-9 win over Gallaudet on April 20.

2020: Nelson played and started in all 8 games for Lancaster Bible during their shortened 2020 Season due to COVID-19. She knocked 5 hits and drew one walk, also stealing a base for the team.
