2024: Bergey had a breakout season in 2024, starting all 17 games for the Chargers and moving to forward part-way through the season. After scoring her first career goal on September 21 against Eastern, Bergey exploded on the year for 15 total goals, leading the Chargers and landing sixth overall in the United East at 0.882 goals per game. She became on of just nine players in program history with a 15-goal season, with the 12th such season overall in program history. Janae had five games with multiple goals and her first career hat-trick on October 16 with three goals at Keystone, all while putting 63.5% of her shots on goal throughout the year. Adding four assists as well, she led the Chargers with 34 total points and 63 shots, including the game-winning goal on October 22 at Cedar Crest in the Chargers' 1-0 victory. Janae joined teammate Zoe Beers as the first players this decade with multi-goal playoff games as she netted the final two goals of LBC's 5-0 First Round victory over Rosemont at home on October 29. Bergey earned United East All-Conference 2nd Team honors at the end of the season, also being named to the NCCAA Mideast All-Regional Team for the 2024 season.

While missing two games, she played the third-most minutes on the team with 1,247 minutes and played all 90 minutes nine times in 2023. Bergey earned United East honors on September 18 as the Defensive Player of the Week in the Volt Division after helping the Chargers pitch back-to-back shutouts over Alvernia and Gwynedd Mercy. She also contributed offensively with eight shots and five shots on goal, including a season-high three shots in a win over St. Mary's (Md.) during homecoming on September 30. At the end of the season, Janae was named to the United East Volt Division All-Conference 2nd Team for defense, her second straight all-conference nod as a Charger.
2022: Bergey made an impact in her first season with the Chargers, playing all 17 games and starting in 16. She played the most minutes of anyone on the team, fielding 1,122 minutes as a key defender for LBC.
