John Clemens

John Clemens was officially announced as the head coach on July 15, 2022 despite being named the interim in February of 2021. Clemens is the 15th head coach in program history.  

Clemens has accrued over 40 wins for the Chargers in his first three seasons, including eight total All-Conference selections, five NCCAA All-Region nominations, and one NCCAA All-American in Phoebe Clemens.

He is married to Sherry and they have two children who are alumni of Lancaster Bible: Zach and Phoebe.

Season-by-Season Highlights:
2022: Coaching with the interim tag, the Clemens and the Chargers went 17-23 on the year and finished 13-15 in the United East. Despite a rough start losing their first twelve contests, the Chargers managed to get things going against conference opponents, winning their last six games. Phoebe Clemens and Alyssa Hamilton were named to the All-Conference Second Team.

2023: The Chargers finished the year 10-26 overall and 5-19 in the United East Conference. Phoebe Clemens and Hannah Lieb were named All-Conference First Team while Chloe King and Alyssa Hamilton were named to the All-Conference Second Team.

2024: The Chargers went 14-24 overall and 6-14 in the United East. Earning themselves a play-in game for the United East Playoffs, the Chargers fell 5-6 to Penn St. Abington. Phoebe Clemens and Alyssa Hamilton were named All-Conference Second Team. Clemens also earned the NCCAA Deb Thompson Award and United East Senior Scholar Athlete for her work in the classroom and the field.
