Tracy Cromer was hired as the Lancaster Bible College Softball Head Coach in July of 2016. She arrived in Lancaster from Greenville College (Ill.) and also coached at Manchester College (Ind.) and the University of Northwestern (Minn.).Â
The 2018 softball season will be her second at Lancaster Bible and her 15th overall, as she has compiled a record of 269-289-4 (.482).Â
Cromer and the Chargers went 11-27 overall in 2017, and posted a 5-15 record in North Eastern Athletic Conference play. Lancaster Bible was honored as a 2016-17 Easton / NFCA Division III All-Academic Team, and Julia D'Arrigo (1st Team) and Sam Denson (2nd Team) earned All-Conference honors.
In two seasons at Greenville, Cromer led the Panthers to a record of 47-39-1 and the program's first-ever NCAA Division III Softball Tournament appearance this past season as Greenville won the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title and finished with a record of 23-22-1.Â
Prior to her stint at Greenville, Cromer was the head coach at Manchester College (Ind.) for six seasons, where she compiled a record of 109-126-1 and made three appearances in the Heartland Conference Tournament. She began her head coaching career at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, Minnesota where she helped the Eagles to a mark of 102-97-2 over five seasons. Cromer guided Northwestern to a program-record 28 wins in 2008 and was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year three times in five seasons.Â
