Previous Seasons
2025: KariAnn Mecke played and started in 33 of 34 games for the Chargers in 2025, racking up 30 hits and 18 total RBI. She boasted a .330 average in 91 at-bats and drew 12 walks with six steals on the year. Mecke had seven games with multiple hits, including three 3-hit games and multiple RBI in four games. Kari was named to the United East All-Sportsmanship team for the 2025 season, also earning academic accolades including CSC Academic All-District and NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors.

2024: Mecke played in 37 of LBC's 38 games as a freshman, playing at first base and recording 105 at-bats. She batted .257 on the year with 27 hits and 10 doubles, one of just two Chargers to reach 10 doubles on the season. Mecke notched three 3-hit games and a season-high four RBI on April 13 against Gallaudet with two doubles. KariAnn hit her first home run on April 7 at home versus Gallaudet, finishing with a .381 slugging % and third on the team with 21 RBI. On defense, Mecke led the way at first base with 230 putouts and just seven errors, posting a 97.1% rate and eight double plays as well.
