2023-24: Shelby Gard played in 19 games in her final season, earning two starts and playing 17.8 minutes per game. She scored 67 points on the year with a season-high 10 against Penn St. Harrisburg on February 14. Gard added 51 rebounds and 26 assists, draining 14 3-pointers with 19 steals as well. Shelby finished her two-year Charger career with 157 points, 98 rebounds, 54 assists, 36 steals, and 32 made threes.

2022-23: Gard played in 21 games for the Chargers in her first season with the team, earning 10 starts. She scored 90 total points for an average of 4.3 points per game, shooting 28.1% from 3-point range. Gard also grabbed 47 rebounds and dished 28 assists, with a season-high five rebounds in the Chargers' first conference win over Penn College on December 3. Shelby's best game of the season came on January 21 at home against Wells College, setting season-highs with 18 points, six assists, and four steals.

Prior to this season, she played three years for Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla. at the NAIA level. Gard scored 266 points in her three seasons and pulled down 87 rebounds. She added 53 assists and 49 steals for the Royals.
