Faith Hammond was hired this past August as the Charger Athletics Department’s first-ever Athletics Administrative Graduate Assistant. In her role, Hammond serves primarily as an administrative assistant while also helping oversee gameday operations and the department’s student-workers.
Hammond was a multi-sport student-athlete during her time as a Charger, competing in Women’s Basketball ('20–'25), Women’s Volleyball ('20–'24), Women’s Beach Volleyball ('25), and Women’s Flag Football ('25). She was a key contributor in both Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Basketball, totaling 381 kills, 258 digs, 224 points, and 171 rebounds during her collegiate career.
She graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management & Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Sport Management.
Hammond has also gained valuable professional experience, serving as an Event Sales Manager for All Star Outfitters based in Tennessee, an After-School Teacher at University Christian in Florida, and most recently as a High School Girls’ Basketball Coach at Milton Hershey.
