Baughman is in her eighth year with the Charger Athletics Department, beginning her tenure as the Head Coach for Track & Field before being elevated to Director of Track & Field and Cross Country. In the fall of 2024, she was also promoted to Senior Woman Administrator.
Throughout her time at Lancaster Bible College, Baughman has played a pivotal role in the development of the Track & Field program, guiding its transition from a club sport to an official NCAA program in the 2019–20 season. Now entering her seventh season at the helm, she continues to lead the program forward, fostering growth both on and off the track.
Prior to joining Charger Athletics, Baughman founded the Track & Field program at Meadowbrook Christian School, where she coached both middle school and high school athletes for 19 years while also serving as an English teacher. Upon returning to Lancaster County, she partnered with Lancaster County Christian School to launch their Track & Field program as well.
Since the program’s inaugural NCAA season, Baughman has coached student-athletes to 14 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American honors, two NCAA Championship qualifications, two USTFCCCA All-Region selections, and numerous NCCAA Scholar-Athlete recognitions. Among these achievements is standout hurdler Leah Bergey, a six-time NCCAA All-American and two-time NCCAA National Champion in the 100-meter hurdles.
