Williamsport, PA- In the blistering cold the Chargers dropped it's 5th of the year to Middle Atlantic Conference elite Lycoming College 3-0. Lancaster's 12-5-1 regular season record is the best since 1992 when the Chargers went 13-4-1 and 15-6-1 overall.

For the 4th time this season the Chargers went 90 minutes without a score. This is nothing new for Lycoming's defense that set a school record with 10 shutouts on the year. Chris Lorenzet found the net from 20 yards out to put the Warriors on the board in the first half.

The Warriors went up 2-0 when Zach Frederick deflected a shot off keeper Jake Kreider (Annville, PA) and into the corner of the net. The final goal of the game was a header scored by Mike Coats in the 77th minute.

In the loss Kreider faced 27 shots had 9 saves and allowed 3 goals. The Charger's leading scorers, Greiser and Zook, were held in check neither of which was able to get a shot off. In fact, Lycoming's defense contained Lancaster to only 4 shots for the game.

On Thursday, the Chargers open post season play hosting Davis College at 4:00pm.
