Harrison Scores 1000th in Chargers Blowout

Lancaster, PA- The Chargers, now 2-4, opened up regional play with a big win at home against Washington Bible College, 110-50. Senior captain, Billy Harrison (Douglassville, PA) shot 6-6, including three treys for 15 points in the first seven minutes to score his 1000th point in the victory.

 

It was a team effort for the Chargers, Thursday night, assisting on 29 of their 47 field goals with 5 players scoring in double figures. Lancaster out rebounded their opponent 61-20, with 24 rebounds on the offensive end, as well as, only allowing WBC to hit 23% of their shots.

 

Freshman Erich Graybill (Bunkerville, PA) came off the bench to log career highs in both points and rebounds with 18 and 14, in only 19 minutes of play, to lead the Chargers. Fellow freshman, Colin Copper (Eliot, ME) just missed his first career double double dropping 17 points and pulling down 9 boards. Along with Harrison's 15, Carl Edwards (Baltimore, MD) added 12, and Kyle Keltner (Menominee Falls, WI) rounded out the scoring with 11 points. Walter Smith and John Brown finished with 23 and 18 points on a combined 15-60 shooting from the field.

 

The Chargers travel to Ferrum College on Tuesday, with the game scheduled for 3:00 PM start.
