Lancaster, PA- Lancaster lost to the Defenders of Baptist Bible College Tuesday night, 61-34. With the loss, the Chargers fall to 3-8 on the year, and now have dropped 3 of their last 4.
The Chargers were unable to take advantage of their opponent's poor shooting, 32.9% from the floor and 27.3% from behind the arc, by shooting 25% and 20% themselves. And once again, the Chargers were hurt by their inability to take care of the ball with a dismal 38 turnovers.
Newcomer, Vanessa Clemenson (The Dalles, OR) was the lone bright spot for the Chargers who dropped a team high 7 points in her first significant action of the season. The Lady Defenders had three players in double figures, Jessica Pollock with 10, Maria Howard with 10 as well, and Alysha Paladino had a game high 12 points.
Lancaster looks to rebound from the loss when they travel to Trinity on Friday for their game scheduled for 7:00 PM.
