Chargers Fall at Home

Lancaster, PA- The women's basketball team lost 81-48 to the Delaware Valley College Aggies at home Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Chargers to 5-10on the year and 2-6 since early January.

 

Lancaster played Delaware Valley tough to start the game, trailing by 15 with less than five minutes left in the first half. The Aggies turned up the defense, outscoring the Chargers by ten to end the half up 40-16. The second stanza was much of the same with the Aggies connecting on 40% of their shots and holding the Chargers to 12-40 shooting from the field.

 

Delaware Valley guard Kim Vennera led all scorers with 23 points in only 23 minutes. In the loss, Lacy McClaine (New Bethlehem, PA) and Nicole Karschner (Galeton, PA) Led the Chargers with 15 points a piece.

 

The Chargers look to rebound at home on Monday against Mt Aloysuis College at 5:00 PM.
